Sensational discovery made by the renowned British archeologist Charles Lewsen nearby the beach Maljevik in Sutomore: Charles’ son, fifteen-year-old Michael, called his father and told him that he saw something strange in the shallow, similar to what he had seen in his father’s books in England many a time before. Enormously large pieces of columns, with about 90 centimeters diameter, lie along with other large architectural pieces at a depth of just two meters. Charles Lewsen said that this discovery is of exceptional importance. Since he is a lecturer at the University of Southampton, Department of Maritime Archeology, he immediately contacted the famous Professor David Peacock, who has been involved in this field for years.

Tens of thousands of people have visited last night’s celebration “Bokeljska noc” (“The Night of Boka”): The first place was won by “Nautilus”, €2.000. The second place (€1.400) was won “Tre sorele”, the third place was taken by “Gallion” (€800). PC “Coastal Management Zone” claims that a businessman Temirbulatov got approval only for a two-day excursion, but he had no permission to prevent other tourists from visiting Mamula: Tourists who tried to visit the fortress two days ago faced closed door. It caused negative reactions among owners of excursion boats, citizens and visitors. Dusko Sucevic, the owner of the excursion boat “Pajo” is embittered because during two previous days he could not put in at the island Lastvica. He said that putting in anywhere at the Montenegrin coast is free and that no permission is required for that.
