Traditional tourist and sports event – jeep-rally “Montenegro Trophy” – will take place for 13th time this Saturday and Sunday, it has been stated at a press conference held yesterday. The track is 120 kilometers long and goes through areas of Niksic – Zupa – Prekornica – Maganik – Lukavica – Niksic. More than 70 crews from Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina announced their participation.

Fishing Championship: windy weather did not prevent the competition for the best fishing crews, which took place in Budva. Teams competed in the discipline “fishing with a pole, from an anchored boat.” Total of 11 teams, with 33 fishermen, competed. the biggest specimen has been caught by Krsto Dabovic – sturgeon which weighted 1,755 grams. Total catch of all competitors weighted 52,020 kg.

Slovenian, Matijaz Fistravec Shoots a Documentary About His Journey from Trieste to Ada Bojana: It will be most difficult for him to decide how to fit everything he went through during last four and a half months into 50 minutes, which is the originally planned length of the documentary he will make about his unusual journey. His odyssey in a sea-kayak lasted four and a half months and included encounters with dolphins, sea-turtles and a shark.

Sailing Competition at Boka Bay: first state sailing championship in “cruisers” category took place in Herceg Novi last weekend. Event has been organized by Sailing club “Jugole Grakalić”. Fastest boat, in accordance with sailing rules, was Herceg Novi’s “RC 44 Black Mistery.” Most of the other awards also stayed at Novi.
