    Thanks to the donations from FORS Montenegro, USAID, CHF International and Municipality of Berane, Tourist Organization of this town will soon receive new offices. Tourist Organization will be placed at the building of local “Radio Berane” at downtown Berane.

    Festivities at Biogradska Gora: at an event which took place yesterday, public enterprise “JP Nacionalni parkovi” and the Office for Austrian-Montenegrin partnership have promoted the establishment on an information center, hatchery, house for rangers, a bungalow, souvenir-shop and education track at the National Park “Biogradska gora.”

    Kotor meets this tourist season, as well as the series of previous ones, without big hotels which should have been built as several locations in this town. Mayor, Marija Catovic confirms in an interview with Vijesti that Kotor should get new hotels in the shortest possible term. She adds, however, that each new hotel, not only in the level of its’ luxury, but also in its’ style and size, must fit into the provisions envisaged by UNESCO, which had placed this town under protection.

    Tourist Organization in Budva has opened new information point, located in the vicinity of football stadium, “Lugovi.” This is the sixth information point in the metropolis of Montenegrin tourism.

    Niksic-based company “Komp Komerc” Announces Eight Million Euro worth Investments. Up until now, estimated half a million Euro had been invested into improving tourist offer of Niksic. The new owner plans to make sure that Vucje does not remain tourist destination during winter time, but also during summers.

    Intensive Action of Republic’s Tourist Inspection: Owners of 109 luxurious villas from Herceg Novi to Ulcinj were the first to face the consequences of the massive action of the Republic’s Tourist Inspection, which controls if the objects posses adequate working licenses. Tourist inspectors have compiled a list of villas which are being advertised on the Internet, following the detailed control of domestic and foreign websites.

    Two reporters of Europe’s most popular fishing magazine – Blinker – are staying in Montenegro between 21 and 29 June. German nationals, Thomas Horch and Marcus Schmidt are exploring the possibilities of Ljuca, Lim, Tara, Mrtvica and Moraca rivers, with the aim of promoting fishing tourism of Montenegro. During their visit to Kolasin yesterday, two journalists went to see river Tara.
