Fishing Championship: windy weather did not prevent the competition for the best fishing crews, which took place in Budva. Teams competed in the discipline “fishing with a pole, from an anchored boat.” Total of 11 teams, with 33 fishermen, competed. the biggest specimen has been caught by Krsto Dabovic – sturgeon which weighted 1,755 grams. Total catch of all competitors weighted 52,020 kg.

Budva – Windy weather on Saturday did not prevent the competition for the best fishing crews, which took place in the waters at beaches of Jaz and Mogren to Cape Skolj. Teams competed in the discipline “fishing with a pole, from an anchored boat.”

Teams from all associations and clubs for sports fishing at sea took part. According to the propositions, last year’s champions, clubs “Ribar” from Tivat and host-club KSR Sirun” provided two teams each. Total of 11 teams, with 33 competitors, participated at this event.

This years’ winner was the team of “KSR Pagar” from Tivat, comprising of Marjan Miksa, Drago Dujmusic and Aleksandar Jandric, who won 7,785 points.

Second place was taken by association “Ribar” from Baosici. The team consisted of Slobodan Svilanovic, Dejan Sijerkovic and Milan Ljubic. They have won 7,560 points.

Third place award went to “Ama” from Kostanjica. Competitors Krsto Dabovic, Goran Dabovic and Spiro Vulovic have won 6,915 points.

According to the statement of the Montenegrin Association for Sports Fishing at Sea, which has been signed by its’ president, Miodrag Vugdelic, the biggest specimen has been caught by Krsto Dabovic – sturgeon which weighted 1,755 grams. Total catch of all competitors weighted 52,020 kg.
