Visit-Montenegro.com : Almost All Tickets for Madonna's Concert Sold
Less Than 1,000 Tickets Remain for the Spectacle at Jaz: Madonna, who will arrive to Budva on 24 September through Podgorica’s airport, will stay in luxurious hotel “Splendid.” She will arrive to the concert area at Jaz in a helicopter, which will take off from the roof of “Splendid” hotel. She will stay in Budva till 27 September, when she will leave for Athens to hold the last concert in the European part of her “Sticky and Sweet” tour.
Podgorica – “There is only less than 1,000 tickets left for Madonna’s Jaz concert”, spokesperson for this event, Aleksandar Rados has told “Vijesti.”
Despite the fact that interest for all sorts of tickets has been great, “Vijesti” have learned that VIP tickets turned out to be most attractive, despite their price of Euro 200. There is total of four VIP stages in the concert area, two of which have been taken by “Mirax.”
Performance of the Queen of Pop will last for two hours. Stage-setting construction works are well under way. Stage will be 90 meters wide, 50 meters deep and 2,5 meters tall.
“50 people are working on setting up this impressive construction. Organizers made sure that not a single thing will bring this event at question, not even the changing autumn weather. For this reason, the space where the audience will be is being covered with 30,000 square meters of pebbles, with the aim to prevent formation of mud in case of rain.
Backstage, which will contain offices and space for Madonna and her family looks like a small town. All the roads which are connecting objects in this section have been covered with asphalt.
Backstage contains 25 fully equipped offices, which include telephones, faxes, Internet Connections. Even color of garbage cans has been precisely demanded, as well as dimensions of tables.
Also, the backstage will include two large dressing rooms for dancers and eight rooms for members of the band.
Apart from gulf-vehicles which will be used by Madonna’s management for their transport around the backstage area, organizational team will also have four-wheel-motor-bikes at their disposal”, Rados has stated.
Visitors will have 300 chemical lavatories at their disposal. Seven medical emergency teams will be placed on standby.

As a warm up for this spectacular concert, Budva’s Municipality and local Tourist Organization are staging another event on 24 September – performance of one of world’s most famous DJs, Roger Sanchez at Budva’s discotheque “Trocadero.”
“During the night of the concert, regional road will be closed between Budva’s direction to Tivat. There will be a VIP parking place at Jaz which will have the capacity of 2,000 vehicles.
Organizers appeal to the visitors to use parking space which is located in the vicinity of the concert area – there is 9,000 parking places available at Lastva, with additional 3,000 which should be provided – or to come to the concert on foot in order to avoid traffic jams.
Bus transport from Budva to Jaz will also be arranged”, Rados has explained.
Organizers have planned to “chase the clouds away” in case of the rain, using modern methods. However, they failed to obtain permission to do that by the respective authorities. Nevertheless, they are confident that unstable September weather will not spoil the spectacle at Jaz.
Gifts for Best Pupils from the North
During the last week, Mayor of Budva, MSci Rajko Kuljaca went for working visits to Municipalities of Savnik, Mojkovac, Rozaje and Plav, in the company of his associates. During these visits, Jaz spectacle also came up as one of the topics. Hosts presented their guests with an idea that the best pupils and students from these Municipalities could be awarded with a trip to Madonna’s concert at Jaz on 25 September.
“In order to make this happen, and on the basis of our successful business cooperation, Prva banka Crne Gore bank and Municipality of Budva have jointly provided 20 gratis tickets for the needs of these four Municipalities from the Northern part of Montenegro”, Danijela Marovic, head of cabinet of Budva’s Mayor has said.
