Company “Guardian Security” is in Charge of Security of Madonna’s team and Visitors at her upcoming concert:

After their last year’s engagement at “Rolling Stones’” concert, company “Guardian Security”, which deals with protection of individuals and property, will be in charge of security of yet another music spectacle. 500 employees of this company will take care of Madonna and members of her team, as well as visitors at her concert, side by side by members of Montenegrin Ministry of Interior.

“Our job would be divided in two segments. One segment includes security of the concert area on the day of the concert, as well as ten days ahead of this event and two days after.

Second part includes provision of escort ¬as Madonna’s ‘first ring’, for her transfer from Podgorica airport to ‘Splendid’, from hotel to Jaz and back on the day of the concert and, most probably, back to Podgorica’s airport.

Crucial part of our first mission is to ensure the full security of the backstage where Madonna’s and her closest associates would be staying.

According to the requests we have received, this area must have 183 employees at positions. There will be 58 entrance areas, 38 for the audience, six for VIP lounge, six for the central lounge and eight for ‘Mirax’ lounge.

Our men will be present at each of these entrances and the teams would, obligatory include, a male and female members.

We shall also secure the area in front of the stage, area between ‘fun pit’ and main concert area, as well as VIP-parking lot”, Darko Perovic, owner of “Guardian” tells “Vijesti.”

In his words, world-famous stars are always accompanied by their own personal bodyguards, who form the “first ring” of security.

“Their security manager – in this case, Scot Nichols – is always in touch with one of our men, who can always convey any request they might have, at any time of day or night, in accordance with their needs at the given moment”, Perovic explains, adding that, although Madonna’s concert was the most important music event which has ever taken place in Montenegro, his company was quite capable to live up to professional standards and react accordingly in any situation which might occur.

“We can say that we do have enough experience in securing this type of event. Unlike with the ‘Stones’, which are globally attractive and basing our estimates on the number of tickets sold, we do expect that this time we shall have a much bigger number of visitors, which might even be two times bigger than at last year’s concert. This means that we must prepare even better. But, when it comes to the principle of work, it remains the same”; Perovic says.

He has also revealed another interesting data – security for the performers will be provided by what till most probably be the most educated bodyguard team since third profession has been first introduced in Montenegro.

“We have been requested that almost all or majority of our workers which will be present at the backstage would speak English.

Our company could not provide 183 men who would meet this request, we had only around 100. For this reason, we started taking applications from all parts of Montenegro. We were surprised with the number of young, educated people who were interested to take part in the organization of such event.

For some 15 days now, all men are in ready to perform their duties, most of them being college-educated. Their degrees range from professorial degrees for English or Italian to the graduates of the College for Physical Culture. I think we have record number of intellectuals working as security at this even”, Perovic says, emphasizing that company “Guardian” has in between 600 and 700 employees and that it has hired workers from all parts of Montenegro who will be arriving to Jaz the day after tomorrow.

“I feel that ‘Guardian’ will become famous for its’ professionalism and respect for the Law, which stipulates that the protection of individuals and property should not include the use of force.

It is up to us to influence public order and peace and warn potential problem-makers and pass on information to the members of the police who has the mission to resolve such situations. Apart from this, member of our security team will have to address the people in a decent and kind manner, regardless of whether these people are our clients or visitors”, he added.

Perovic pointed out that bringing of professional recording equipment will not be allowed in the concert area. Individuals who might show signs of excessive use of alcohol or any other forms of inappropriate behavior will not be allowed in into the concert area, regardless of whether they will have the ticket.

Other performers Include: “Van Gogh”, Morales, Sanchez…

Apart from the main spectacle – Madonna’s concert which will take place tomorrow night, several other attractive music events will take place in Budva.

At Jaz beach, immediately next to the concert area, first our of three, “Mirax’s” party will start tonight at 9:30 pm. Organized in cooperation with Skymusic” company, program includes performances of Serbian band “Van Gogh”, Russian pop-rock star Gari Sokatchov and famous electronic music performer, David Moralles. Tickets cost Euro 30 and can be bought in post Offices of Montenegro.

After Madonna’s performance, “Mirax” and “Sky Music” also announce after party taking place at the same location, with DJs Junior Jack and DJ Ura. Tickets will cost Euro 25. Ticket for any of these two events will allow free access to daily parties which will start at “Mirax” discotheque as of noon.

Budva’s Tourist Organization has also announced a warm up ahead of tomorrow’s spectacle, which will take place at Budva’s discotheque “Trocadero.” This club will host American DJ-start, Roger Sanchez.
