Resort hotel to open on coast
Up to eight of Hotel Milocer’s 21 rooms, and six suites, will be opened this summer for Montenegro’s coastal tourists, the Singapore-based Amanresorts said.
Rooms at Sveti Stefan, the exclusive island resort town that was acquired by Amanresorts in 2006, will be available sometime next year. Negotiations over the terms of reviving the Tito-era resort are still underway between Amanresorts’ representatives and the Montenegrin government.
Amanresorts, which owns 18 small luxury resorts worldwide, took over the management of Sveti Stefan and Kralikicina, as well as Milocer, located on the Adriatic coast near Budva. The lease is for 30 years, at a price of €2.1 million per year.
