Visit-Montenegro.com: Prelude for filling up Tunja

Citizens of Tivat blame the Government for the environmental crime in Krasici and there’s no end to it: Tivat-based company “Mix 2006”Ltd. which was identified by “Coastal Zone Management” as a contractor of controversial construction works in Krasici is represented by the Executive Director Cedomir Radovic from Bar. The only founder of that company is the Russian citizen Igor Kulesov from Moscow.

Tivat- The information on devastation of once most beautiful parts of the stony beach in the famous tourist settlement Krasici gave rise to resentment among the general public in Tivat.
An anonymous Russian investor committed a real environmental crime here by spreading over few hundred tones of earth and stone into the sea, on the site below the local road which goes through the tourist settlement Krasici.

About one hundred meters away from the road leading to Rose, or Petrovici, on a parcel, which according to the unofficial information is the property of the Russian Embassy worker, construction machines dig underneath the road and lamp posts and the dig material is placed on the gravel and stony beach and into the sea below the parcel.

Emphasizing that this incident is not a surprise, professor Neven Stanicic, the representative of NGO ”Evropski dom” (European home) from Tivat, who is also actively engaged in the ecology, said yesterday for “Vijesti” that the case of Krasici reminded him of “general rehearsal of the forthcoming filling up of Tunja”.

“Unfortunately, when it comes to Tivat it has been done before in the planned documentation when filling up the area of more than 100.000 square meters in Tunja was considered”, said Stanicic, implying that the Russian company “Metropol”, supported by the Government, planned to fill up 12 ha of the sea surface on the sandbank Tunja which is situated near St. Mark’s island.

“If this is already planned in order to get an area for housing constructions then I don’t see any reason why a person shouldn’t think of filling up the sea surface on his own. The precedent is set and it would be hard to stop this disorganized tendency which cannot be considered as disorganized anymore since it is part of planned activities. The Government has to do something as soon as possible”, said Stanicic.

According to information on the site of Real Estate Administration of Montenegro, devastated parcels at issue in Krasici and the shore cover an area of 2000 square meters.

Parcel No. 10 is a” fourth class pasture land” which covers an area of 481 square meters and according to the information on the site it was owned by three citizens of Tivat who sold it to an anonymous foreign buyer.

Parcel No.7 which is state property is “barren land” and covers an area of 1.583 square meters.

Tivat-based company “Mix 2006”Ltd. which was identified by “Coastal Zone Management” as a contractor of controversial construction works in Krasici is represented by the executive director Cedomir Radovic from Bar, according to the Central Registry of the Commercial Court.

The only founder of that company is the Russian citizen Igor Kulesov from Moscow.

The company which trades in wood and construction material was registered on 12th December, 2007, and there is no information that the registration which expired in December 2008 was renewed.
