The campaign of the Tourism Organization of Tivat is over: The award presentation ceremony marked the end of traditional preseason campaign “Turisticki cvijet” (Tourist flower) organized by the local tourism organization. The aim of the campaign is to encourage general public and citizens to give their contribution to make the city more beautiful on the eve of the main summer tourism season.
Tivat – The best were awarded at the ceremony which took place in the entrance hall of medieval summer house “Braca-Lukovic” in Tivat. This award presentation ceremony marked the end of traditional preseason campaign “Turisticki cvijet” (Tourist flower) organized by the local tourism organization. The aim of the campaign is to encourage general public and citizens to give their contribution to make the city more beautiful on the eve of the main summer tourism season. Mirjana Stanisic from the settlement Dumidram, Zdenka Klemenc from the settlement Seljanovo and Ljubica Bujanic from Donja Lastva were awarded in the category “The best decorated flower garden”.
Vojislav and Radovan Bujkovic, the owners of apartment building “Briv” and “Montenegrino” hotel, were awarded for the best decorated area in front of business premises.
The owners of the most beautiful balconies are Irena Ucovic and Dragica Dangubic, while the best trimmed hedge, according to the jury, belongs to Veselinka Mandic and Milos Plavsic.
Dara Bulajic and Nada Stojkovic got the prize for the most beautiful magnolia trees, while the acknowledgment for inventiveness in the area of horticulture went to Milena Kujundzic and Lazar Buculov. Letter of thanks was handed over to Dusan Antonijevic for dedication to horticultural improvement of the are surrounding St. Sava Church in the city center. All laureates of “Tourist flower” were awarded seedlings of attractive plants provided by sponsor of the campaign – the nursery garden “Mondo Verde” in Radanovici. The campaign was supported by Radio Tivat and the Cultural Center of Tivat.
