Budva – Budva was yesterday without a drop of water until late in the night. Namely, the big storm that hit an area of Pastrovska gora the night before left the water supply facility at Podgor without electricity.
As the local water company reported, bad weather caused damage to transmission line where Podgor gets the electric power from and this resulted in interruption to water supply.
“The damage caused low water pressure in households downtown Budva while parts of the city at a high altitude have been without water. The power went out in the water supply facility at Podgor two nights ago at 1 am. Local water supply Rezevici was also without electricity until early in the morning. Water supply will be back to normal depending on how long it will take the power utility team to fix the damage. According to the latest information, we expect this to happen by the end of the day” – it was confirmed in the local water company yesterday.
Stormy weather, which hit the entire municipality of Budva, came with rainfalls and thunders, but it didn’t cause any major problems, apart from the usual torrent streams from the Hill Spas leaving mud and sand deposits on the highway, which is a common thing during heavy rains.
