Kotor – Famous American singer Beyonce was in Kotor yesterday, but remained well hidden from the public eye.
Attractive 28-years-old singer landed at 10 o’clock a.m. with her private jet on Tivat airport, and with four luxurious BMWs and Mercedeses went towards Kotor, accompanied by several people and security members.
According to “Vijesti”, after reaching Kotor she went to the hotel “Forca Mare”, which is situated on the seashore in Dobrota, where she had coffee. Later on she board up the yacht “Va Bene”, which was anchored on Kotor’s kuay.
The owner of the hotel “Forca Mare”, Misko Joketic, didn’t want to comment the fact that a famous star visited for a short time his hotel, however, he didn’t deny this information.
“Vijesti” found out that absolute discretion was requested, paparazzo photographs and journalists couldn’t be in her vicinity, and even the people who were in charge of her transportation to the Old Town of Kotor couldn’t take a picture with her, nor they were allowed to use their mobile phones while they were in her company.
Beyonce didn’t have a walk through the town, but instead was sitting on the deck of the yacht with several other people, while her body-guard had under his surveillance passers-by, who couldn’t even flair that a famous star was on this yacht.
The yacht which was rented for the mega star sailed in the afternoon hours from Kotor’s port and after making a short break in Dobrota sailed towards Herceg Novi.
Beyonce Giselle Knowles, born September 4, 1981, in Huston, Texas, USA, is a famous American R’n’B singer, songwriter, producer, actress and fashion designer. She reached enormous success in the period from 1990 to 2005, when she was a part of the group “Destiny’s Child”. Beyonce’s father, Matthew Knowles, was the manager of the group. Their first single “No, no, no” which was among top 10 on Billborad Charts, rose to fame the leading singer Beyonce. She began her acting career in 2001 and in June 2003, she released her debut solo album with the hit single “Crazy in Love”, where she collaborated with her boyfriend Jay-Z. She also collaborated with Sean Paul, Missy Elliot, and Outkast on that album. It was a commercial and critical success, earning Knowles five Grammy Awards in 2004. Two years later she won another Grammy Award for her duet song “So amazing” with Stevie Wonder. Beyonce is married to famous rapper Jay-Z. They live together in South Beach.
