Niksic – Owners of the ethno-village “Montenegro“ Mico and Radonja Blagojevic decided to organize an unusual event this September – (Saint) Valentine’s Days, which will last from September the 1st to October the 1st.
„The first hundred couples in love who check in , of course, will get really amazing prizes. All of them will get two overnight stays in „honey cottages“ for free, photographs by “photo MM“ from Niksic, gift package from “Neksan“, gift bouquet from the flower shop “Zecevic“ from Niksic, and gift package from CD shop“Miss“. Every one of them will get love certificate with marks, according to which, as well as according to the photographs, the jury will choose the most beautiful couple of this event“ said Mićo Blagojević.
Gornja Brezna village, which got its name after the trees, is located on the thirthy- fourth kilometer from Niksic, en route Niksic-Pluzine. In that village the ethno-village “Montenegro“ is situated, first of that kind in Montenegro.
According to Blagojevic , the number of couples who will participate in this unusual event is unlimited, but mentioned free prizes will be provided only for the first hundred registered couples. The rest of them should come to enjoy in beautiful nature and hospitality of the hosts and to take a picture. All of them will get love certificates with marks.
“At the end of the event jury members Sonja Golubovic, Manager of the Magazine “Caffe Montenegro“, Biljana Brasnjo, a journalist of the Daily Press“Dan“, and Nedjeljko Jovovic, the Head of the company of Tourism Organization „Pluzine“, will choose the most beautiful couple who will get really valuable prizes“, said Blagojevic.
The prizes are parcel of land for cottage construction in ethno-village, weekend in “Mango“ villa in Rafailovici which is located on about twenty meters from the sea, Tara rafting, cruise on Pivsko jezero(Piva Lake), gift from jewelry store “Vera“ to the value of EUR100, dinner at the restaurant “Vukov most“ (Wolf’s bridge) in Niksic, a poster from photo-studio ”MM” and other minor prizes.
The brothers Blagojevic came up with an idea to make ethno-village and according to them they have had 50.000 visitors so far.
In times of modern life style, in high building’s flats made from steel and concrete, where a man became alienated from himself and nature, we wanted to offer something new -intact nature, fresh mountain air, scent of natural materials of fir-wood and beech-wood”, said Mićo Blagojević.
“It is very encouraging that there has been a great interest in the country tourism for the last couple of years”, says Blagojevic.
