Visit-Montenegro.com: In September more tourists than expected
Montenegro records an increase in tourist arrivals at the beginning of September comparing to last year: Occupancy rate in major tourism destinations on the Montenegrin coast – Tivat, Budva and Herceg Novi higher than it has been expected. In most of the hotels post seasonal prices are in force.
Budva/ Tivat/ Herceg Novi-In all types of accommodation on Herceg Novi Riviera there are 8 500 tourists or 6.5% more than last year at the same time. There are almost 3 000 tourists who are staying in hotels, while in private accommodation there are 4 558 visitors. In most of the hotels post seasonal prices are in force, whereas hotels “Riviera“ and “Sun Resort” will reduce their prices after 15 September.
In Tivat, in all types of accommodation there are 1 421 visitors who are officially registered, which means that the number of arrivals has increased by 37%. In Budva occupancy rate is very good, as well. There are almost 25 000 tourists who spend their summer holiday in this town. That is 2% more than at the beginning of September last year.
