Bar-Twenty-second festival “Barski Ljetopis” has shown even in its finale that it is a prestigious and a complex event. Such concept provides the opportunity to enjoy in various programmes, especially now when the audience is more and more demanding and expects from the Center for Culture the continuation of good cultural offer. That is something on which we all insist, Ćazim Nikezić, director of Bar’s Cultural Centre, said at the press conference at which organizers officially announced closing of the festival “Barski ljetopis”.

During 38 days of the festival 46 official and 18 accompanying programmes were carried out. Audience had opportunity to enjoy in art, film, theatre, literary and musical programmes and in a fashion show. Festival took place at several locations: in the Castle of King Nikola, in the gallery Velimir A. Leković, on the summer stage of the Cultural Centre, in Mirovica and in Old Town.

This way visitors had chance to enjoy not only in well organized cultural programmes but also they had opportunity to meet new and interesting parts of Bar, town which was famous in the past and whose dwellers retreated into mountains before pirates.

Director of the Cultural Centre expressed special gratitude to general sponsor – the Municipality Bar and to Žarko Pavićević, the Mayer, for creating all necessary conditions and the atmosphere in which this-year festival could be held without any problem, as well as to the audience and to his associates in the Cultural Centre who spared no effort and time to enable proper carrying out of programmes.
