Visit-Montenegro.com: Ratković’s Poetry Evenings

Pavle Goranović is this year award winner for a collection of poems “Cinober”: Tonight the program of Ratković’s Poetry Evenings “moves” from Bijelo Polje to Podgorica, where in the bookshop “Karver” literary evening will take place and most of the guests of this-year RPE will participate. Evening in “Karver” will start at 8 p.m.

Bijelo Polje-In the Centre for Culture of Bijelo Polje, at the award ceremony, Božo Koprivica, the member of jury and a writer, read the citation on granting the award of this-year 39th Ratković’s Poetry Evenings to Pavle Goranović for a collection of poems “Cinober”. This literary event was opened by the poet Mladen Lompar. Tarzan Milošević, the Mayor of Bijelo Polje and the President of the Council of RPE welcomed all present.

By extending the award to a wider area we wanted to be open to various cultures, literary heritages and traditions, Miloševic said. The Mayor said that he and the municipality intend to provide their support in the future as well.

While presenting Goranović with the award, Miloševic said that this man is a true friend of this festival and Bijelo Polje.

In the central part of the event “International Literary Evening” Yvon le Men, Mladen Lompar, Amir Brka, Ivan Dobnik, Dubravka Velašević, Kolja Mićević, Milorad Popović, Lukač Manćik, Sreten Vujović, Fehim Kajević, Slobodan Čurović, Marko Pogačar, Slobodan Zubanović, Dragana Tripković, Tonko Maroević, Oto Tolnai, Braho Adrović, Ervin Jahić, Dušan Đurović and Kayoko Yamasaki read their verses.

During the day Central Literary Forum “New Montenegrin literature - remove the differences” was organized, Borislav Jovanović, Pavle Goranovič, Božo Koprivica and Vladimir Vojinović took part in it, whereas Marinko Vorgić was the moderator.
