International Painters’ Colony on Bardov do finished: The event brought together the artist from seven countries. On 39th Ratkovic’s Poetry Evenings, the Council of Painters’ Colony presented awarded young poets with paintings. Pavle Orović, the Chairman of the NGO “Eko Bjelasica” pointed out that this tradition of giving pictures as presents will be arranged on the forthcoming events organized by the Municipality.
Bijelo Polje- International Painters’ Colony, which brought together the artist from seven countries on Bardov do on the mountain Bjelasica, is closed yesterday.” The works of art which were created during this event will be presented to all art lovers in Podgorica, Petrovac, Tivat and Kolašin, as well as in other cities.”-Pavle Orović, the Chairman of the NGO “Eko Bjelasica”, said.
On 39th Ratkovic’s Poetry Evenings, the Council of Painters’ Colony presented awarded poets with paintings. These poets are: Natas Živković from Belgrade, Maja Ručević from Zagreb and laureate Pavle Goranović.
Orovic pointed out that this tradition of giving pictures as presents will be arranged on the forthcoming events organized by the Municipality.
He reminded that International Painters’ Colony on Bardov do was launched in 2004 by the NGO ”Bjelasica” with the support of the organizations CHF and USAID. He added that this year’s event was shorter, due to economic crisis and lack of accommodation.
“Our plan for the following year is to gather more international artists; it will be organized with the support of the Council of International Art Colony”.
