Tivat ready for start of the season

"It is very important that the trend of issued work permits and in private accommodation in Tivat on the rise," said Deputy Minister Nebojsa Popovic, adding that in Tivat expressed no problems accompanying performance of the season.
During discussions with representatives of local government and tourism industry Tivat on the preparation of the season was concluded that as soon as all tenants should sign the beaches and agreements necessary to obtain work permits, issued by the Municipal Secretariat of Economy.
One of the topics was the records of income and Tax and tourist fees, and the focus of the meeting was the inspection. It is expected that this segment this summer, be strengthened and coordinated in order to fight the gray economy.
Tourist inspection is already on the ground, and it was agreed that during this year's tourist season in the municipality is engaged in an inspector.
"Occasionally there will be organized and coordinated inspections," said the main tourist inspector Svetlana Sljivancanin. Pointing out that the emphasis this year will be given to charge residential and tourist taxes, the director of NOT Sasa Radovic said that this compared to last year, will have quite a successful season and that in order to animate the guests and organize daily entertainment on the beach.
Guests are yet to come
In the complex "Blue Horizon" there are currently 300 guests, and on Saturday are expected to arrive from 150-200 so that the tourists from next weekend to stay at between 450 to 500 guests.
The beach in the bay Trašte these days, on average, record visit of about a thousand swimmers, since it has a beach bar and restaurant.
Prices to rent chairs and umbrellas are not changed from last year so that visitors to the beach for a set - two chairs and umbrella have to pay 8, and hotel guests 5 euros, while all-day parking by the end of June amounted to two, and from 1 July the service will cost three euros.
