Visit-Montenegro.com : Thrilled With Tara

Kolašin – Two reporters of Europe’s most popular fishing magazine – Blinker – are staying in Montenegro between 21 and 29 June. German nationals, Thomas Horch and Marcus Schmidt are exploring the possibilities of Ljuca, Lim, Tara, Mrtvica and Moraca rivers, with the aim of promoting fishing tourism of Montenegro. During their visit to Kolasin yesterday, two journalists went to see river Tara.

According to the words of Kolasin’s Tourist Organization, Markic Rakocevic, German journalists are being hosted by members of Kolasin Fishing Association.

“German journalists mostly got positive impressions during their visit to Tara, although they also had complaints, which mostly had to do with the piles of garbage at certain locations.

It had been concluded that all institutions, which deal with development and promotion of Montenegrin tourist offer, must find the way to jointly work towards better and quality-based presentation of Montenegro and the development of fishing tourism in our country”, Rakocevic said.

Visit of two German reporters had been set up by a producer, Velibor Ivanovic. The project had been supported by GTZ, National Tourist Organization, RTO BiK, LTO “Kolašin”, SRD „Kolašin“, „Lim“ Berane, „Plavsko jezero“ and NGO “Montenegro, Fishing Paradise.”

Ivanović also announced the planned shooting of 30 episodes of a new serial “Waters”, which is dedicated to waters and fishing across Montenegro, as well as the region of former-Yugoslavia and the EU:
