Festivities at Biogradska Gora: at an event which took place yesterday, public enterprise “JP Nacionalni parkovi” and the Office for Austrian-Montenegrin partnership have promoted the establishment on an information center, hatchery, house for rangers, a bungalow, souvenir-shop and education track at the National Park “Biogradska gora.”

Austrian Ambassador in Montenegro, Florian Raunig emphasized that Austrian focus in this region had been selected with full consciousness, when it comes to development assistance. As he noted, up until now, the sum of investment totaled at Euro 2,8 Million.
Assistant Minister of Tourism and Environmental Protection, Zoran Duletić maintained that the realization of projects to rebuild infrastructural objects in the National part “Biogradska gora” have supported working activities of local authorities. These projects have been financed by the Austrian-Montenegrin partnership, in cooperation with the CHF and have, in words of Duletic, assisted the administrative authorities in the National park in their aims to achieve progress with the infrastructural improvements necessary for the development of sustainable summer and winter tourism.
Director of the National Park, Darko Brajuskovic has spoken about the infrastructural objects which had been put in use yesterday and expressed his gratitude to the partners who have helped the realization of these projects in the National Park.
Beside the host from the Public enterprise for National Parks, National Park “Biogradska Gora”, representatives of the Office of Austrian-Montenegrin Partnership and FORS Montenegro, also present were Austrian and US Ambassadors to Montenegro and mayors of northern municipalities.
