Bar - Bar’s Riviera is readily greeting its’ 4,731 guests who are announcing the beginning of a prosperous season.

Roads and certain parts of the infrastructure are not completed yet, the reason for it being extensive amount of construction works which had been undertaken in the area of Bar’s Municipality.

Representatives of the Tourist Association of Bar take good care about the number of guests and their immediate needs. They have stated that over 4,500 tourists are accommodated in the tourist objects located in the area of this municipality.

According to the officials’ data, 2,510 guests are staying in hotels, which is by 20 percent higher in comparison to the same period last year. 1057 guests or 2,7 percent more than in 2007, are spending their holidays in private accommodation. Company hostels have 1,164 guests, which presents a 35 percent drop in comparison to June last year.

Data made public by the Tourist Association of Bar point that the number of foreign guests exceeds number of visitors from abroad during the same period of the year (4,296) and that by 10 percent. The number of domestic guests is also 26 percent higher and makes up 435.

Numerous sailing and speeding boats, as well as yachts, are floating in the bays of Bar, which is the first sign that nautical tourists have also found the hospitality of this area appealing.
