The first international festival “Old Bridge 2008” in water dives at river Tara would start on Saturday at 1 pm. The event had been organized by Mojkovac’s Rafting Club “Tara” and Tourist organization from this town.
Mojkovac – The first international festival “Old Bridge 2008” in water jumping to river Tara would start on Saturday at 1 pm. The event had been organized by Mojkovac’s Rafting Club “Tara” and Tourist organization from this town.
According to the announcement of the organizers, 25 competitors from Federation of BiH, Republika Srpska, Serbia and Montenegro would take part in the competition. They would also be joined by three local competitors, as well as champions in water diving from the famous bridge in Bosnian town of Mostar.
Manifestation aims at attracting tourists and would be opened by the director of Tourist Organization, Dejan Medojevic.
Organizers have provided financial awards and cups. Competition would be monitored by three international referees and two local referees from Mojkovac. Head referee would be Miroslav Vukovic from Belgrade.
Height of the old bridge is 17 meters. The bottom of the river had been prepared and cleaned. Diving board is put in place, as well as the special platform for the referees, which is placed under the bridge at Tara.
Chairman of the Organizational Board of this first international cup is Vlatko Rakocevic.
