Festival of Children’s Theatre, which will present 13 shows performed by professional children’s theatres, has been opened last night at the Summer Stage in Kotor. Show “Tom Sawyer and the Devil’s Work” opens Kotor’s Festival
Kotor – Festival of Children’s Theatre, which will present 13 shows performed by professional children’s theatres, has been opened last night at the Summer Stage in Kotor.
At the celebration of the opening, Mayor Marija Catovic gave town keys to the children. After this, last year’s winner, Podgorica’s Town Theatre, performed the show “Tom Sawyer and the Devil’s Work”.
According to the words of Festival’s selector, Bozo Sibalic, following theatre troops would participate at the Festival: Children’s Theatre from Subotica, Krusevac theatre, State Puppet Theatre “Brodyachaya Sobacka” from St. Petersburg, Puppet Theatre “Slon” from Sofia, Belgrade’s “Puz”, “Bosko Buha”, “Pan Teatar” and “Pinokio”, “Pozoriste Mladih” from Novi Sad”, “Teatar za djecu i mlade” from Skoplje, “Teatar mladih” from Cetinje and “Gradsko pozoriste” from Podgorica.
Jury which consists of Goran Bulajic, Miroslav Radonjic, Aleksandar Milosavljevic, Olga Grad and Janko Ljumovic, will proclaim the best performance at the festival on its’ last days and present the awards.
More than 50 additional events would follow the Festival, which will last until 10 July.
