Podgorica – Second enriched edition of monograph “Montenegro” has been published by the “Maps of Montenegro.” Illustrated with many superb quality photos and texts, this book presents the tourist offer of Montenegro from Herceg Novi and Ulcinj on the coastline through the National Parks and Skiing-Resorts.
According to the statement of publisher and editor, Vladimir Mijovic, this monography has 127 pages and has been translated to five languages.
“Monograph has been published in May last year and had been the absolute best-seller at the Montenegrin market.
We have received praises from the experts, not only in terms of the content, but also in terms of how we designed the cover page”, Mijovic has said.
As he has explained, monograph promotes Montenegrin tourism. Tourists buy these editions as they can be obtained, at rather popular price of Euro 20, at Podgorica and Tivat’s airport, as well as gas-stations and hotels.
Mijovic emphasized that they have received no assistance whatsoever from the Ministry of tourism and that they had financed this project on their own.
“In order to take aerial photos, we paid the Army up to Euro 700 per hour, so that we had to pay up to Euro 5,000 in order to pay for one helicopter flight which took six hours”, Mijovic said.
