“White Field 2008” Opens at Bijelo Polje Tonight: Second jazz-festival “White Field 2008 - Bijelo Polje” will be opened tonight, with the performance of Rambo Amadeus. The concert would start at 9 pm at Bijelo Polje’s Central Square. Also performing: Deborah Brown, “Vlatko Stefanovski Trio”, “Vlada Maričić & Friends”
Podgorica – Second jazz-festival “White Field 2008 - Bijelo Polje” will be opened tonight, with the performance of Rambo Amadeus. The concert would start at 9 pm at Bijelo Polje’s Central Square.
Special guest stars at this concert are Milorad Sule Jovovic, famous Montenegrin guitar-player. Rambo would be accompanied by his band: Vojo Dizdar (piano), Vladimir Čukić (bas) and Goran Ljuboja - Trut (drums).
According to the announcements of the organizers, following Rambo’s concert, the visitors would be able to enjoy the performance of “Vlatko Stefanovski Trio”. The band is headed by the legendary front man of Macedonian band “Leb i Sol.” Stefanovski is accompanied by Djoko Maksimovski (bas) and Dejan Dino Milosavljevic (drums).
On the next evening, band “Vlada Maricic and Friends” would perform at the same square, accompanied by their special guest-star Ljubisa Stojanovic – Luis.
“Vlada Maričić & Friends” consist of Slobodan-Bata Bozanic (bas), Petar Radmilovic (drums), Lazaro del Toro Vega (percussions), Vladimir Maricic (piano) and Ljubisa Stojanovic Luis (vocals).
Star of this festival is Deborah Brown, who would perform at the main square on the same evening. Jazz-diva ¬would be accompanied by “Nikola Matosic Trio”, as well as Howard Curtis (drums), Sasa Mutic (piano) and Nikola Matusic (bas).
Festival is organized by Bijelo Polje’s Center for Culture and the local Municipality.
