Visit-Montenegro.com : 19 Premiere Movies in Budva this August

Continuation of the Festival “Summer Cinemania” in Budva: With another Montenegrin opening which took place the other evening - premiere of “Threat”, directed by M. Night Shyamalan – multimedia festival “Summer Cinemania” continues to attract visitors to the swimming pool “Rondo” in tourist complex of “Slovenska plaza” who want to see blockbusters and other hit-movies.

Budva – With another Montenegrin opening which took place the other evening - premiere of “Threat”, directed by M. Night Shyamalan – multimedia festival “Summer” Cinemania continues to attract visitors to the swimming pool “Rondo” in tourist complex of “Slovenska plaza”.

With this film, Shyamalan returns to his roots of a genuine thriller, packed with tension – a story about a catastrophe, runaway and nature of deadly conflict with the mankind.

Basically, this may be one of his most relaxed stories, as it follows the actions of only three persons – a man, a woman and a child – running away from a nameless, faceless catastrophe.

Shyamalan succeeded in gathering a good cast, headed by Mark Valberg.

“Summer Cinemania” is one of nine festivals taking place this summer under umbrella event “Budva’s Summer”, which puts together musical, entertainment and film events. The entire event is organized by the Tourist Organization of Budva, Hotel-Tourist-Company “Budvanska rivijera”, Municipality of Budva and companies
“TOB&Co” and “Copyright”.

In cooperation with producing company “Mirius Tuck” from Belgrade, audience will be able to see 35 current movie hits. Most of these hits, which would be shown till 20 September are opening at Budva, not only in Montenegro, but also in the entire Balkans region.

First two days in August brings the premier of “X-Files: I want to Believe”. 3 August is scheduled for “Hanckock”.

Movie “Citulja za Eskobara” would be shown on 4 August, followed with “Vegas for two” on the next day.

On next two days, on 6 and 7 August, audience will see “Sex and the City” and “Nemo’s Island”. The film “You Don’t Mess With the Zohan” will be shown on 8 and 9 August.

A day later, visitors will have an opportunity to enjoy “Kung Fu Panda”, followed by musical “Mama Mia” on the 11th and film “Voli” on 12th and 13th August.

Film “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” will be shown on 14 August, while the next three evenings remain booked for the following movies: “Catch Smart”, “Batman – the Dark Knight” and “Indiana Jones.”

Program continues with the thriller “Threat” on 18 August, followed by another showing of “Hanckock” a day later.

Another opportunity for those who have missed “Sex and the City” would be on 20th August, followed by “Citulja za Eskobara.”

22 August is reserved for a documentary “The Rolling Stones - Shine a Light”.

Those who have missed films “Mama mia”, “Kung fu panda”, “Nemo’s Island” and “You Don’t Mess With the Zohan” will be able to see then on 23, 24, 25 and 26 August. On the 27 August, another opening: Incredible Hulk.”

Program continues with “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” on 28 August. Last three days of this month are reserved for films “Wanted”, “Vegas for Two” and “Batmen – the Dark Knight.”
