Another Analysis of Sea Water Completed: water on Montenegrin coast is clean and possesses necessary quality characteristics which make it suitable for swimming and recreation, fourth analysis of the water quality conducted on 16 and 17 August has shown. From the total number of 84 analyzed locations, sea water at 59 locations bears the mark ‘first class”, the statement from the Public Enterprise “Morsko Dobro” released yesterday reads.

From the total number of 84 analyzed locations, sea water at 59 locations bears the mark ‘first class”, the statement from the Public Enterprise “Morsko Dobro” released yesterday reads.

According to the statement containing the data which had been processed by the head of Service for Sustainable Development, Aleksandra Ivanovic and signed by Director of “Morsko dobro”, Rajko Barovic, the first class quality in Budva’s Riviera had been confirmed at the following beaches: Lucice, eastern and western side of Sveti Stefan, Przno, Kamenovo, hotel beaches of “The Queen of Montenegro”, MOC and “Belvi”, as well as Sveti Toma beach, part of Slovenska plaza at hotel “Park”, Ricardova glava beach and former nudist beach at Jaz. Also, at beaches "Escallara" and "Blue Beach".

“Highest sea water quality in Ulcinj’s area is also confirmed at Ada Bojana, at Borova suma locality, Mala plaza and beaches “Kitesfera”, “Copacabana”, “Evropa beach”, “Tropicana”, “Safari”, “Miami” and “Tony Gril” at Velika plaža.

At Bar’s Riviera, top-class of sea water quality has been confirmed at “Paradizo” beach in Utjeha, “Topolica” beach, “Zukotrlica”, “Crvena plaza” and Sutomore’s “Inex Zlatna obala” and “Tri duda.”

In the region of Kotor, first class of water had been recorded at the localities at Trsteno, Stoliv, Markov rt, in front of "Fjord" hotel, at beach “Malibu" at Dobrota and Perast beach of “Kupatilo II.”

In Tivat area, the best quality of sea water had been found at the beach of "Plavi horizonti", Oblatno, Krasici, Solil, Kalimanj, Kalardovo, beach of “Palma” hotel, as well as at the docks at Seljanovo and Opatovo.

At Heceg Novi’s riviera, first class of sea water has been confirmed at
Kamenari beach, as well at the hotel “Delfin” in Bijela, beaches in Baosici, “Bambi” beach in Djenovici, as well as at the beaches of “Vila Perla”, “Copas”, “Yachting Club”, “Novosadsko kupaliste” and hotel beaches of “Topla”, Institute RVI in Igalo and hotel “Rivijera Resort”. Also, at Mirista, Dobrec and beaches of "Porto" and "Cuba Libre” in Zanjic bay”, the analysis continues.

Poorer Quality at 25 Beaches

Second class of sea water quality has been noted at Ada Bojana, at the confluence of Porta Milena channel.

At Bar’s Riviera, lower quality has been confirmed at Veliki pijesak, Canj and Sutomore’s beach of “Centar.”

At Budva’s Riviera, second class of sea water has been confirmed at beaches Buljarice, Petrovac, Rafailovici, Slovenska plaza at “Grdjevica” and “Blue Magic”, beach Mogren I and at "S and i Beach Life" at Jaz beach.

In Kotor’s area, lower quality of sea water had been noted at the beaches at Prcanj, Sveti Matija, Sveti Stasije, at Orahovac and at Perast’ beach I, as well as at the hotel-beach of “Teuta” in Risan and in Morinj.

In Tivat’s municipality, second class of water quality has been confirmed at beach at Kalimanj.

In Herceg Novi region, lower quality of water had been noted at the beaches in Kumbor, Zelenika, town beach in Meljine, Corovica beach, Igalo, beach at villa “Galeb” and “Blatna plaza.”
