Following the summer season, National Tourist Organization (NTO) will launch a massive fair-campaign, which would present potential of the “Wild Beauty” at autumn and winter tourism fairs in almost all metropolis in Europe and in neighboring countries. First presentation will take place in Paris, between 16 and 19 September, at “Top Resa” tourist market.
Budva – Following the summer season, National Tourist Organization (NTO) will launch a massive fair-campaign, which would present potential of the “Wild Beauty” at autumn and winter tourism fairs in almost all metropolis in Europe and in neighboring countries.
First presentation will take place in Paris, between 16 and 19 September, at “Top Resa” tourist market.
In words of NTO’s manager, Danica Ceranic, it is expected that this market would attract around 20,000 visitors and tourism-business professionals and around 500 journalists.
“Tourist offer of Montenegro will be presented by Montenegrin NTO, in cooperation with strategic partners and tourism industry. Our presentation space will have 60 square meters.
According to the official statistics, Montenegro has been visited by 30,000 tourists from France during 2007, with 182,000 overnight stays, which is by 74 percent more in comparison to the figures from 2006.
An increase in the numbers of French tourists has also been noted this year. During the first six months, 7,500 French tourists visited Montenegro and stayed for the total of 39,000 nights, which is by three percent more than during the same period last year”, Ceranic stated.
She reminded that “Montenegro Airlines” company has introduced a direct flights to France three times a week, on Tuesday from Podgorica to Paris and on Thursdays and Saturdays from Tivat to the French capital.
“At the beginning of this year, tourist offer of Montenegro has also been presented at the ‘workshop’ organized by ‘Montenegro Airlines’ in Paris.
Numerous French tour-operators, tourist agencies and journalists were present at this gathering, alongside 35 Montenegrin tourism representatives.
With the aim of promotion of Montenegrin tourist offer, a journalist of famous French weekly magazine - ‘Le Point’ - visited Montenegro this year. Following her stay here, she ran an attractive five-page article about our country, entitled: ‘Montenegro – newly discovered country in the Mediterranean’.
Montenegro as a tourist destination is promoted by some of the most famous French tour-operators and tourist agencies, including Amslav, Prodintour, Etoile Notre Dame, Generation Voyages, Marsans-Transtours, Montagne Evasion, Top of Travel, Tabarka Evasion, Saveurs du Monde, Rivages du Monde, etc”, Cernic stated.
According to the program of promotion at Paris’ market, director of the NTO, Sasa Radovic will address the members of the press at a introductory press conference held on 16 September.
Radovic will present the current situation in Montenegrin tourism industry, as well as Montenegrin tourist offer. Presence of numerous journalists, as well as representatives of tour-operators and partners, is expected.
NTO’s presentation space will also introduce offers of hotel groups “Montenegro Stars” and “Budvanska rivijera”, tourist agencies “Talas M” and “Luminlis”, Tourist Organizations of Budva, Bar, Podgorica and Regional Tourist Organization for the Development of Bjelasica and Komovi.
