Event in Budva: Citizens of Budva and their guests will have an opportunity to witness a unique festival – Fiesta of Figs – which will take place at Memorial House “Rezevici” this Saturday. According to the organizers, intention of this fiesta is to bring back to life the idea of “the celebration of figs, fruit which had been traditionally grown and used by Pastrovici clan.”
Budva – Citizens of Budva and their guests will have an opportunity to witness a unique festival – Fiesta of Figs – which will take place at Memorial House “Rezevici” this Saturday. Aim of the program is to add to vividness of cultural and entertainment tourist offer during the months of September.
According to the organizers, intention of this fiesta is to bring back to life the idea of “the celebration of figs, fruit which had been traditionally grown and used by Pastrovici clan.”
“Fiesta of Figs, which will be organized by the Memorial House ‘Rezevici’, will start at noon and last till the sunset.
Menu will include figs and other dishes made of figs – fresh and dry figs with prosciutto ham, young goat-cheese and Mediterranean salads and various sweets made of figs. Fig-wine and fig-brandy will be served with honey and Mediterranean fruit decorations”, organizers say.
Fiesta has been supported by the Tourist Organization of Budva, HTP “Budvanska rivijera” and company “Copyright DOO.”
