Crew of fishing boat “Montefish” from Tivat brought back from the sea an amazing catch, most certainly setting a record for this year: three large sword fish and one tuna fell “victims” of experienced Tivat’s fishermen. Total weight of this catch came up to 300 kilograms.

“Sword fish weighted 70 and 75 kilograms, while tuna had almost 90 kilos. According to my information, no one had such a catch this year”, owner of “Montefish”, Dejan Krstovic said.

Spectacular catch of Tivat’s fishermen caught attention of many locals and tourists, as dozens of curious people speechlessly watched unloading of fish from the boat.

Krstovic emphasized that swordfish and tunas have been caught with floating bake, which have been laid by the crew of “Montefish” on the very border of Montenegrin territorial waters, some 12 miles away from the entrance to Boka Bay.

Caught fish will find its’ customers in elite Montenegrin fish restaurants.
